We are seeking an experienced Front-end Engineer who takes ownership of delivery, feels comfortable in client-facing roles, and ships production-ready work independently.

The ideal candidate is proactive, communicates clearly, demonstrates strong AI-augmented problem-solving skills, and prioritizes performance, quality, and maintainability in every feature delivered 👇🏼

Core responsibilities

Front-End Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance user interfaces using Next.js and/or Astro
- Build performant websites leveraging SSR, SSG, ISR, and Islands Architecture
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive behavior across devices and viewports
- Deliver production-ready features and ensure their quality before review
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient TypeScript code
- Diagnose and resolve performance issues using tools such as Chrome Performance Profiler and Bundle Analyzer
- Optimize and maintain strong Google Core Web Vitals
- Clearly communicate performance improvements and their business impact to clients
- Use AI-assisted workflows (Cursor, Claude Code, planning modes) to accelerate delivery
Headless CMS & Architecture
- Model scalable, intuitive content schemas (e.g., megamenu structures, modular page builders)
- Design maintainable content architectures for long-term editorial usability
- Integrate headless CMS solutions with both Next.js and Astro-based projects
- Think beyond implementation and consider long-term maintainability and editor experience
Client Communication & Ownership
- Participate in client demos and technical discussions confidently and professionally
- Communicate complex technical concepts in clear, concise language that non-technical stakeholders understand
- Investigate issues internally before challenging client assumptions
- Collaborate with teammates when necessary to resolve issues efficiently
- Take ownership of issues and collaborate with the team to resolve them effectively
- Take full ownership of features from implementation to final validation
- Contribute to technical proposals during presales or scope expansions when needed
Project Ownership
- Work independently and effectively manage time to meet deadlines
- Maintain clarity in documentation when required
- Ensure all delivered work meets professional standards before client review
- Protect the company’s reputation by delivering polished, reliable solutions

Required Skills and Technologies:

4+ years of commercial front-end development experience
Strong expertise in Next.js
Proficiency in React and TypeScript
Hands-on experience with TailwindCSS and shadcn/ui
Experience working in client-facing roles
Deep understanding of Google Core Web Vitals
Ability to precisely diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks
Active use of AI-assisted development tools
Version Control (Git)

Advantageous Skills:

Experience working with both Next.js and Astro in production
Strong understanding of Islands Architecture
Familiarity with Gatsby
Experience building marketing or high-performance e-commerce websites
Familiarity with composable architecture
